Since just before Christmas, your ruler, Venus, has been retrograde in your 9th house of travel and higher education. You may had travel plans go awry, or found your spiritual or religious beliefs undergoing some kind of transformation. Perhaps you’ve even found yourself deciding to go back to school, so you’ve been researching programs that match well to you and working hard on applications.
Starting on the very first day of the month, Venus will go direct, and matters of these nature will become more clear. Additionally, the beginning of the month sees a new moon in your career sector supported by Uranus in your 12th house of closure. Bulls who work in a creative field, or in medicine or psychology, may begin a new, more prestigious job, or perhaps get a big assignment or press for a project. If you do get a job offer, try to sign your contract in the first five days of the month, as alas, Mercury will retrograde in your career house from Feb 6th to March 1st. If you agree to a job offer or start a new job during the retrograde, you may find the conditions aren’t exactly what you’d hoped.
During the retrograde, you may review your job situation to determine what is and is not working for you. You may have to re-do a project, or perhaps encounter snags that you need to find workarounds for. Feb 11th and Feb 19th are days to watch out for. On the 11th, the Sun in your career house will square Saturn in your partnership house. You may disagree with an employer on this day, or perhaps your significant other will feel you are paying too much attention to your job and not enough to them! Mercury will have the same fight with Saturn on the 19th.
The full moon on the 14th (Valentine’s Day!) may bring a home matter to fruition. Whatever comes up seems like it has to do with your work or health, as Mars will give a friendly wave to the moon from your 6th house of work and health. Perhaps you decide to relocate for a job, or you land a work-from-home opportunity. It appears to be good career news for you, as Mars will also be trining the Sun in your career sector, and this is considered a lucky aspect!
The 22nd should be a fun day, when the Sun will conjunct Neptune in Neptune’s home sign of Pisces and your 11th house of hopes and dreams. You may hear good news about a creative project on this day, or perhaps a friend has happy news, as the 11th house is also considered the house of friendship. Another good day? The 24th, when your ruler, Venus, in your travel house will sextile Saturn in your partnership house. This is a great day for romance, or to partner up on a work project, especially if it involves publishing, travel, broadcasting, higher learning or writing.
A day to watch out for would be the 25th, when Jupiter in your communication house will square Uranus in your 12th house. You may inadvertently reveal a secret on this day, or perhaps fight with someone close to you, maybe even a sibling. Alternatively, you could experience car troubles or have problems getting to where you need to be. This would also be a bad day to sign a contract. Luckily, you should find a solution by the last day of the month, when the Sun moves into position to trine Jupiter in your communication house.
