Sagittarius Horoscope March 2014

Expanded Horoscope: Home and family matters get a boost this month, and it seems you have lady luck on your side! The new moon on February 28th may usher in a fantastic new housing opportunity, and the presence of your ruler, Jupiter, indicates that you’ll have the money you need to make your home dreams a reality. You may get help from an inheritance or parental cash gift, or perhaps you get approved for a home loan. Pluto will reach out from your income and self-worth house, further indicating that family and money issues are well-starred this month.

Starting on the very first day of the month, Mercury will move forward in your contract sector, so if you are looking to sign a lease or housing agreement, you have the go ahead! March 26th would be a fabulous day in particular, as Mercury in your housing sector will ping Jupiter in your money sector on this day!

On the other end of the spectrum, a full moon occurs on March 16th in your 10th house of career. It’s well-supported by stable Saturn, indicating that you may receive a job offer or promotion around this time. It’s also possible that you end a job or career path at this time, and if so, it seems that would be a good thing for you.

Jupiter is the second planet that will joyfully return to direct motion this month. This is extra special for you, since Jupiter is your ruler. It’s turning direct on March 6th, and after that money luck should become even stronger. You may hear good news about taxes, stock picks, spousal money, or a bonus. However, it does appear that you have a large amount of expenses as well- perhaps for a child or leisure endeavor- and this is a trend that will peak in the third week of April. If you do get good money news, best save it up in case of an emergency down the road.

Just as we have two planets going direct this month, so do we have two more planets going retrograde…doh! On March 1st, Mars moves backward through your 11th house of friendship until May 19th. If your socializing has gotten out of control lately, you may need to take a step back and slow things down. Are you fighting with a friend? Perhaps taking some space will give you the necessary perspective to resolve your issues down the line.

Mars’ retrograde in this sector may also cause you to revise and refine your big-picture plans. You know, the whole “who am I and what I am doing with my life” thing. If you’re launching a new business or project, use this time for careful thought and planning, which will pay off in spades down the line. As Ben Franklin said, “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.” So think of Mars retrograde as a positive thing!

Saturn is another planet that will turn retrograde, and it will do so on March 2nd, lasting until mid-July. This one could be a little tough, since Saturn is currently tearing up your 12th house of secrets and closure. If you’ve been struggling with trying to let a person or situation go, Saturn’s retrograde will force you to do the dirty mental work you’ve been avoiding. You may drudge up old psychological issues, or learn of a secret you didn’t see coming. If you have an addiction, you may be forced to face it, and if you have a secret in your past, prepare for it to be illuminated. Some Sag’s may struggle with illness, or have to deal with a loved one’s illness. Saturn is asking you to clear out the cobwebs of your life, to make way for the new beginnings coming your way in the next few years.

sagittarius februaryAfter a month that may have been peppered with some unpleasant financial surprises, you’ll be pleased to find that money matters begin to straighten out on February 1st. This is due to Venus returning to direct motion in your income sector. Be sure to take advantage of this time, as unfortunately Mercury will retrograde just 6 days later (on Feb 6) and stay that way until March 1st. Doh! Mercury will first move backwards in your 4th house of home, making matters of this nature fuzzy. Then it will retrograde into your 3rd house of communication. Emails could get lost and miscommunications are likely. Double check your work, make sure your car is tuned up, and if you’re traveling, make sure you have a plan B, as travel plans are likely to get screwed up.

The new moon that took place on the last day of January occurs in this same communications house. It will be friendly to Uranus in your 5th house of love and fun, so you may take a trip with a lover or child, or perhaps begin a creative writing assignment. If any kind of contract comes up, be sure to sign it before Mercury goes retrograde on the 6th (or try to wait until March 1st). Any agreements made during the retrograde will likely have to change in the future, as the conditions would not be what you were hoping for or expecting. This would be a great time to look for a new car if you are in the market, but do not purchase anything during the retrograde.

The 11th may prove to be a harsh day, when the Sun in your communication/transportation sector will square Saturn in your 12th house of closure. Be careful on the road, as you may experience car troubles, such as a flat tire or transmission  issue. Alternatively, you may fight with a sibling or inadvertently reveal a friend’s secret. The 18th has similar aspects, when it will be Mercury’s turn to square Saturn.

The full moon that occurs on Valentine’s Day is just lovely, as it takes place in fellow fire sign, Leo, which blends wonderfully with your sign. Additionally, it occurs in your 9th house of travel, the house that your sign happens to rule! One of your best Sagittarius traits is your adventurous spirit, so why not take some sort of adventure this V day? Grab your date and get out of town! The full moon will sextile Mars in your house of hopes and dreams, indicating an extra special time. Single? The 11th house also rules friendship, a wonderful aspect to plan a group outing. Perhaps a vacation with friends is just what the doctor ordered this Valentine’s day! The moon could also manifest in other way; perhaps you find out you got accepted into the grad school or university you applied to, or a writing assignment comes to fruition!

Changing tracks, the 22nd is a wildcard of a day, as the Sun will conjunct Neptune in Pisces and your 4th house of home. Pisces is square to your sign, so you may feel this more than others, but it’s hard to know whether the news will be positive or negative. I feel it could go either way. Perhaps you get great news- a contractor begins work on your dream house, or you find the home of your dreams. Perhaps your parents call with a happy announcement. Neptune is a magical and dreamy planet- right at home in Pisces!- meaning the news could be out of this world amazing! On the other hand, Neptune is also known to be evasive and foggy- it’s the planet of illusion and it can conceal details. This, coupled with the fact that Pisces is square to your sign, gives me pause. However, you have such beautiful aspects in your home sector next month that I can’t imagine the news would be too bad. You’ll just have to wait and see what pops up!

The 24th may bring good financial news, as Venus in your income sector will sextile Scorpio in your 12th house of closure. Unfortunately, the 25th will be tough, as your ruler, Jupiter, in your 8th house of money, death, and transformation squares Uranus in your love house. You may fight with your love about money, or perhaps a child has a big expense. Perhaps you’re no longer getting the bonus you thought was headed your way. Luckily, good luck Jupiter will remain in this financial sector until July, so I suspect you won’t be down on your financial luck for long!

2014 January Horoscopes- Sagittarius

A bunch of planets and the new moon that occurred on the 1st took place in your income sector, usually good news except for the trouble some other planets are stirring up! Sagittarius

This is your month to shine! The sun in your sign trines Uranus on the 1st, and you may hear delightfully unexpected news about a child or creative project. If you’re not looking to have a kid right now, watch this date and take the necessary precautions! Alternatively, you might meet a new love interest out of the blue! What a lovely month to be a Gemini! This month is all about love and partnerships for you! Early in the month, the Sun in your house of partners will trine Uranus in your house of hopes and dreams. This month sees you focused on money, bull, and you seem to be in luck. Early in the month, the Sun in your house of other people’s money trines Uranus in your house of endings. You seem to be under the radar these days, dear Sag- behind the scenes, chugging along, doing your work. This is likely due to Saturn’s transit of your 12th house, which began in October of 2012 and will last into 2015.

You may be hard at work building the pieces of a new project that has yet to launch, or you might even be dealing with a health issue. Other Sag’s might be dealing with the loss of a relationship or family member (although I sincerely hope this is not the case).

Since July of 2013, your ruler, Jupiter, has been transiting your 8th house of other people’s money, sexuality, death, and transformation. You may have seen an inheritance or bonus come in, or perhaps you’ve just been finding yourself going through a major transition. You might even find your libido has been very active!

March also sees the north node move from your 12th house to your 11th house. This would not be a good time to launch a new relationship or project, or try for a baby. Adding to the chaos of April, there’s two eclipses this month, although they are friendly ones. The first one is lunar, and will occur in your house of hopes and dreams. A project may culminate, or you may hear news about a close friendship. Shortly after that, a solar eclipse occurs in your work house. You may get a new job, new offices, or new tasks at work sometime over the next 6 months. The eclipse will conjunct Mercury, and sextile Neptune in your house of home, indicating that your home and work needs will be in alignment. You may launch a new business with a partner, or possibly from your home. Alternatively, a new job may need you to move and you’d find that this would excite you.

The big news of 2014 is that Jupiter will move into Leo and your 9th house of travel and publishing in July. You may find yourself traveling a lot, or perhaps even moving or studying abroad. Alternatively, you might get into the college or grad school of your dreams, or finally have your novel get picked up by a publisher.
