Scorpio March 2014 Horoscope

Expanded Horoscope: March is a month tailor made for romance and fun, so grab your party hat and come on in! The new moon on February 28th may sweep a new love interest into your life, or open up a chapter in an existing romance. It’s perfectly lined up to good luck Jupiter in your 9th house of travel and broad horizons, and Pluto (your ruler!) in your 3rd house of travel and communication, indicating that a fun trip with your love might be on the agenda. If you’re trying to have a baby, this is a great time to try, and if you already have a child, you may hear good news about them at this time. All of this is especially true the closer your birthday is to November 2nd.

If you’re looking to make a commitment in love, conceive a baby, or begin a creative project, you may hear news around the full moon on March 16th. This moon occurs in Virgo and your 11th house of hopes and wishes, indicating that a long-held dream may come true around this time. The moon will be well-angled to Saturn in your sign, giving whatever happens extra stability and importance. You may also hear news about a friend, or connect with an influential person who could help your career.

If you’ve been looking for a new place to live or adjusting to a new home space, things may start to straighten out once Mercury goes direct in this sector on March 1st. Additionally, Jupiter goes direct on March 6th in your 9th house, straightening out any travel, writing, or higher education plans.

Unfortunately we do have some planets going retrograde this month as well (facepalm!). Mars will turn retrograde on March 1st in your 12th house of closure and secrets, which is a bit of a strange placement for Mars. Mars is an aggressor planet, and the 12th house is sleepy and dreamy, so the two are a bit of an odd couple. You may be dealing with some personal demons, addictions, or self-doubt, and Mars’ retrograde will force you to confront these issues. Mars rules your sector of work and health, so you may be having trouble in these areas as well. Use Mars’ retrograde to re-evaluate your work and health situations and fix whatever you need to. It seems that whatever is brewing will come to a head in the third week of April, when there’s a four way square between planets in your work and health, closure, communication and travel houses. Mars will resume forward motion on May 19th.

Adding to the chaos is the fact that Saturn turns retrograde in your first house of self on March 2nd. If you’ve recently started a new venture or relationship, you may be questioning if its really want you want. Alternatively, if you’ve been doing the same thing for a while- whether you’ve been living in the same city, working at the same job, or in the same relationship- you may start to get a little restless and feel the need to do something different. You may get the opportunity to work from home, or perhaps your job offers to relocate you. The moon is well-angled, indicating that you’ll be excited about whatever comes up. Additionally, Venus goes direct in your communication sector on the 1st, giving you the go ahead to sign any contracts. Seize any opportunities that come up between February 1st and 6th, but after that hold off. Mercury will be retrograde from Feb 6th to March 1st, mostly in your home sector. Mercury retrograde can conceal information and make for miscommunications, so you don’t want to make any major decisions during this time. If you’re planning to move, go ahead and look at places, but don’t sign a lease until March 1st (unless you take care of it during the first week of february- then you’re good to go!)

Another reason to stay away from the middle of the month? On the 11th, the Sun in your home sector will square Saturn in your sign. You may have trouble with a housing matter- perhaps you put in an application for an apartment only to find out that you didn’t get it. Alternatively, a family member may have bad news. A day with similar aspects as these is the 19th. On this day, Mercury will square Saturn, making it a terrible day to make any commitments regarding housing or family.

Luckily, Valentine’s Day looks lovely, with a full moon in your career sector supported by Mars in your 12th house. Any scorpions who work in a creative or medical field should hear good news around this time. Perhaps you get a promotion or a big new project. Alternatively, a job may come to an end. If you weren’t expecting this or did not want this job to end, don’t fret. Sometimes you have to tear something down to build it back up again. 2014 January Monthly Horoscopes- Scorpio

You’ve had emails to answer, trips to take, and errands to run, yet you’ve been getting hit with a bunch of BS from your work, health, travel, and secrets house that’s slowing you down! It’s enough to rattle even a scorpion! Writing and communication projects may be taking up a lot of unnecessary energy, or you could be having problems with your car, or with getting from A to B. Not to mention you’ve got Mars and Uranus sword fighting in your work and and closure houses! The 2nd may have brought tough news, as the Sun conjuncted your ruler, Pluto, in your contract house and squared Mars in your 12th house of closure and secrets. Your car may have finally called it quits, or a project may have abruptly come to an end. Luckily, on the 11th, Venus will conjunct the Sun in the 3rd house, and reach out happily to Saturn in your sign. This would be a great day to sign a contract. The 16th sees a full moon in your 9th house also holding hands with Saturn in your sign. This would be a fine time to travel or work on a publishing or broadcasting project. Alternatively, you may hear good news about a program of study- perhaps you got into University, or the grad school of your dreams! The end of the month changes tracks, as you appear to switch your focus to your home. Sagittarius

This is your month to shine! The sun in your sign trines Uranus on the 1st, and you may hear delightfully unexpected news about a child or creative project. What a fun month to be you- this month is all about fun and wishes coming true! What a year 2013 was for Scorpions! You seem to be in the middle of a complete transformation, my dear, and this will continue in 2014 (and 2015).

This is due to Saturn’s transit over your sun, which began in October 2012. You may have embarked upon a new career or course of study, gotten married, or started a family. At times this process has felt tough (you’re a fixed sign, so you don’t always welcome change!). Often we must tear down existing structures to put new ones in place, but know that whatever it is you’re building will be in place for a very long time and benefit you for years to come.

In addition, Jupiter has been in wildly compatible water sign Cancer since July 2013, expanding your horizons and perhaps bringing travel, study or religion into your life. This will continue until July 2014, at which point Jupiter will move into Leo and your 10th house of career. Get ready for big things, as Jupiter in this sector could point to a huge promotion or accolades for you! Awesome!

Let’s break down the year on a monthly basis:

January starts off on the wrong foot, with a new moon in your house of communications that’s square Mars in your 12th house and Jupiter in your 9th house of travel. You may hit obstacles on any communication projects, or travel could go awry.

Luckily, February looks a lot better with a well-angled new moon in your home sector that’s sextile Uranus in your 6th. You may have to move temporarily for work, or perhaps you’ll get a new job working from home. This month also brings career news, as the full moon in Leo in February is sextile Mars in your 12th house of endings. You may leave a job, get a promotion, or get some press. Cool!

March is also a lovely month, with a gorgeous new moon in fellow water sign Pisces and your 5th house of love, children, and creativity that will trine Jupiter in your 9th house of travel. Scorpios born between Oct 27 and Nov 7 (or 10 degrees rising) will benefit most from this new moon.  You may begin a new creative project, or find love while overseas. Alternatively, you may decide to try for a baby! The new moon will also sextile Pluto in your 3rd and conjunct Neptune, giving creative projects or love commitments an extra boost. Just be sure to go over any contracts with a fine toothed comb, as Neptune can be deceiving.

Also in March, the north node of the moon will move from your sign into Libra and your 12th house. This node in Scorpio has given you good fortune in all things YOU. It asked you to put yourself front and center and encouraged you to take on a leadership role in your life. It feels good to be so powerful! Now the node will point you in an entirely different direction! North Node in the 12th will ask you to embrace your more spiritual side and trust in the universe instead of micro-managing the details of your life. You may be encouraged to do more volunteer work or even work in a medical or mental health field. Because the south node will be traveling through your 6th house of work and health, you may experience setbacks in these areas. Your office may become a source of stress for you, or a nascent medical problem may present itself. This could be a tough position at the outset, but because you have Jupiter transiting your 10th house of career come July, I expect things to work out for the best for you.

Moving on to April, this will be a tough month for all signs! There’s a wonky new moon occurring in your health and work house that will conjunct Uranus, square Jupiter in your 9th house of travel AND square your ruler Pluto in your 3rd house of communication. These same planets will all square each other later in the month as well (April 21st), along with the Sun in your 6th house of work and health, and Mars in your 12th house of endings. A project may suddenly fall apart, or an unexpected travel or health problem could occur. Alternatively, you or a beloved co-worker may leave your company. The lunar eclipse mid-month in your house of endings and closure supports this idea that something will come to an end in your life.

Your ruler Pluto goes retrograde this month as well, so matters may not sort themselves out until Pluto turns direct in September (a beautiful month, which I’ll get to in a minute!).

On a positive note, there’s a new moon solar eclipse in your 7th house of partnerships at the end of April, which will conjunct Mercury and sextile Neptune in your 5th house of true love! You may begin a new chapter of your love life, whether that means taking the next step in your current relationship or starting a relationship with someone new. Alternatively, you may begin a new creative partnership. Watch the next 6 months to see how this plays out.

Skipping ahead to August, it appears a housing matter will come to a head with the full moon in Aquarius. With Uranus sextile from your work house, it again appears you may have to relocate for a work matter. Saturn will square from your first house and Mercury will oppose from your career house, so this may come as unwelcome news to you.

The good news is that September and October will be FANTASTIC career months! Jupiter in your career house will trine Uranus in your work house in September and you may hear news of a dream job! The lunar eclipse on October 8th will fall in your work house, and it will make a golden triangle with Jupiter in your career house, and Mars in your income house. Wowy! You appear to be getting a new job with an even better title and salary! This just might be your ticket into the big leagues, kid.

October 23 sees a new moon solar eclipse in your first house which conjuncts Venus and sextiles Neptune in your 5th house of true love. Again, all signs are pointing to you and a love partner deepening your commitment and taking the next steps in your lives together. On December 24th, Saturn finally moves off of your sign and into your 2nd house of income. It will return briefly in 2015, but it will be so nice to finally have the pressure lifted for a while! Scorpio

This is your month to shine dear scorpion, as a host of planets glide through your sign. The Sun joins Mercury and Saturn, and there’s a solar eclipse on the 3rd at 11 degrees Scorpio. If you were born around November 3, this will affect you most, although all scorpions will feel some effects. Note that eclipses can take up to 6 months to take effect. The eclipse is sextiling Mars in your 11th house of hopes and dreams, and your ruler, Pluto, in in your 3rd house of communication and contracts. It looks like you’ll be initiating a new venture that is very important to your identity, possibly a work project of sorts, and you may be signing a contract. Saturn in your sign will be conjunct this eclipse, bringing stability to whatever you begin, although it likely won’t be easy. Be careful not to initiate any ventures early in the month while Mercury is still retrograde. After a turbulent month that saw you focused on socializing and friendships, this month has you resting and recuperating. Hopefully you have a few days off over Thanksgiving to be low key and take some time for yourself. The Sun joins Mercury and Saturn in your 12th house of recuperation and closure. There’s a solar eclipse on the 3rd in this same sector, and it’s nicely angled to Mars in your house of career and Pluto in your house of income. Any Archers in a creative profession, or a medical or institutional field, should see profits coming in from any new venture. In general, ventures now will be behind closed doors. Don’t worry- your time to shine will come. Save any initiatives until after Mercury goes direct on the 11th. The 12th would be best, as the Sun on this day will trine Jupiter in your 8th house of other people’s money and you could come into some unexpected funds. Venus spends the month in your second house of income, which is even better news for you wallet! Watch out for news on the 15th, when Venus will conjunct Pluto in this sector. You could hear good news, but with Uranus squaring both planets, you might have a large expense related to a child or creative project.  The full moon on the 17th falls in Taurus and your 6th house of work and health. Take your vitamins and eat your vegetables- this is the prime time of year to get sick, and we don’t want that! A lot of people tend to spend Thanksgiving with their families, but not all of us are lucky enough to have family nearby. What better alternative that to gather a bunch of friends together and hold a Friendsgiving? This month you’re in the perfect position for just that, as a host of planets, as well as a solar eclipse, are in your friendship sector. The eclipse takes place on the 3rd, and it’s nicely angled to Mars in your 9th house of travel and Pluto in your own sign. You might go on a trip with friends, launch a publishing or broadcasting project, decide to move abroad, or even begin your dream business. Because this eclipse is conjunct to Saturn, your ruler, whatever you launch should be blessed in legitimacy. What great news! If you do initiate something, wait until the 12th. Mercury will have gone direct the day before, and on this day the Sun will trine Jupiter in your 7th house of partnerships, suggesting that perhaps your love with join you on whatever adventure you begin! Venus spends the month in your sign, giving you charm in spades. Been thinking about chopping off your hair or updating your wardrobe? DO IT  (just don’t forget to wait until after November 11th!). October 2013 Horoscopes- Scorpio

Did you know that when food is scarce, scorpions have the ability to slow their metabolism down enough to survive on only one insect a year? Perhaps you’d heard that researchers discovered they were able to freeze a scorpion overnight, only to watch it thaw out and walk away the next morning. Your sign is a survivor, Scorpio, and it’s known for its ability to navigate the dark side effectively. This skill will come in handy this month, as the new moon in the darkest part of your chart, the 12th house of secrets and closure, will be harshly angled to Uranus in your house of work and health, and Pluto (your ruler!) in your house of communication. You got a taste of this last month, but because this month is powered by a new moon, things will get even messier. You might be having problems at your workplace, or having it out with an underhanded co-worker. Or maybe YOU’RE the underhanded co-worker, and your mis-deeds are finally biting you in the butt. Alternatively, you might be having transportation or health issues. If your issues are work or health related, they should be resolved by the 18th, when a lunar eclipse in your 6th brings things to climax. Know your chart? October born Scorpios are finally coming out from under Saturn’s glare, but those born in early November are currently feeling the burn. Be careful on the 9th, when Mars in your 12th house of secrets squares saturn in your 3rd house of communication. You might say something you don’t mean (or do mean, but regret saying). Another day to watch out for is the 16th, when your ruler Mercury in the 2nd squares Uranus in your 8th house and Pluto in your 5th. Love and money won’t mix, and Mars in the mix in your 12th suggests a secret (yours or your lover’s) will be exposed. A full moon in Pisces on the 19th brings your partner front and center. August 2013 Horoscopes- Libra through Pisces

Libra– After a stressful career month, August will bring some much needed relief. Let the good times roll as you catch up with friends and loosen up a little!
