Summary Libra Horoscope: An emphasis on love and friendships, with two major eclipses in these sectors. Mercury retrograde could see a behind the scenes matter come up for review. Saturn direct in your communication house could straighten out a communication matter.
Extended Libra Horoscope: There’s sure to be lots of activity in your life this month, with two game changing eclipses, Mercury and Uranus going retrograde, and Saturn going direct!
The month begins with two major heavy hitting planets, Jupiter and Pluto, squaring one another on August 4th in your identity and home sectors. You might have difficulties with home matters or family members at this time.
This aspect has occurred before- in late November 2016 and late March 2017– so think back to those times for clues as to themes that could emerge.
Then, the first eclipse will be a lunar eclipse on August 7th in your love and children zone. Luckily, this eclipse will reach out happily to good luck Jupiter in your sign, as well as stable Saturn in your communication sector, suggesting that you could meet a romantic partner, discover a pregnancy, complete a creative project, or hear news about your child.
One thing to be watchful of, however, is the fact that energizer Mars will be zooming through your 11th house of friendships and goals, directly opposite this eclipse. It’s possible that you will be extremely busy with events, friends, or a long-term goal.
Some good days to address these types of needs are August 10th, 13th, 16th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, and 27th. Luckily, I don’t see any other negative squares or oppositions between planets in your friendship and goals house this month!
In fact, the solar eclipse on August 21st takes place in this very same house of friendships and goals, and it is the most gorgeous eclipse! It will conjunct motivator Mars and the fated North Node, reach out happily to Jupiter and Uranus in your relationship and identity houses, and trine stable Saturn in your communication house!
If you’ve been working on a long-term project, especially one with a partner, you will love this time! the 11th house rules dreams and wishes, so dream big and it may come true!
There is reason to suggest that you make any moves earlier than the eclipse, however, as on August 13th Mercury goes retrograde, and I think we all know to stay away from Mercury retrograde by now!
This time, it will take place in Virgo and your 12th house of closure, so you may need to review and revise a behind-the-scenes matter. I would avoid making any major commitments “official” during this time or signing any contracts. You could find down the road that whatever you committed to is not what you thought it was.
Mercury also rules your 9th house of travel, so this is an area of life that could come up for review as well. Mercury goes direct on September 5th.
Switching gears, you’ll be pleased to hear that love planet Venus (your ruler!) is gliding through your 10th house of career this month, blessing your work life.
Venus will make loving aspects to Mercury, Neptune, and Pluto (your ruler!) respectively on August 10th, 12th, and 15th, so these are wonderful days to address career needs.
Days I would avoid are August 17th and August 24th, when Venus will be angry with Jupiter and then Uranus in your relationship and identity houses.
Luckily, August 27th sees the Sun in your sign reach out happily to Saturn in your communication zone. Even better, on August 25th, Saturn goes direct in your communication house, suggesting that a sibling, car, or writing project matter will speed up or become easier.

Extended Libra Horoscope: June 23rd saw a new moon in your career house, conjunct Mercury and Mars in the same house, and making a loose square to Jupiter in your sign.
It’s possible that you got a new job or promotion, or landed a big assignment.
The first few weeks of the month continue this focus on career, with your best day to take action being July 5th, when the Sun makes a harmonious trine to Neptune in your work and health house.
However, there are some hard aspects going on in your career house throughout the month, which could bring challenges your way. Days to watch out for are July 2nd, 4th, 9th, 17th, and 20th.
Then, July 8th sees full moon in your home zone, and in truth, this moon is mixed.
While the moon will make a loving trine to Neptune in your work and health house, suggesting you could spend time with family or complete a housing project, it will conjunct transformational Pluto, oppose warrior Mars in your career house, and square good luck Jupiter in your sign.
It’s possible that home or family needs at are odds with personal or career ones.
Luckily, travel and education matters seem to go well this month, with loving Venus (your ruler) gliding her way through Gemini. Good days to address these types of needs are July 18th, 26th, and 30th.
I would avoid July 17th and 24th for travel and education matters.
As the month progresses, planets begin to trickle into Leo and your 11th house of friendships and goals. Luckily, it’s all good news on this front, as Mercury makes harmonious aspects with Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, the True Node, and Uranus on July 7th, 14th, 19th, 21st, and 24th respectively.
In fact, you get a lovely new moon in this same 11th house on July 23th, suggesting that you may join a new group, plan or attend an event, or launch a new long-term goal.
Next month offers even more possibilities for events, groups, and goals, since there will be a stunning solar eclipse in Leo (your 11th house) on August 21st.
