Extended Horoscope: This month could be chaotic for finances, as planets in your income, shared money, love, and friendship houses battle for the first three weeks of April. We start off with a messy new moon on March 30th in your 8th house of shared finances that squares Jupiter in your long-term goals house and Pluto in your creativity house. It seems you may hit a financing snag for a long-term project, or perhaps a child or lover requires a large expense. If you were expecting a bonus, it may be smaller than you thought, and there’s a possibility it may not come at all. Alternatively, an investment could prove to be a poor one, or a spouse or partner’s income may hit a speedbump or even disappear. Another alternative is that a romance or friendship falls apart, causing you to take a break from one another at this time.
Because the Moon will conjunct Uranus, it seems that whatever happens will come up out of the blue, and I think you will hear news sometime between March 30 and April 2nd, as the Sun hits a series of difficult aspects on these days. On March 31st, it will square Jupiter, on April 1st it will conjunct Uranus, and on April 2nd it will square Pluto. I hope you already did your taxes, because if you do them on one of these days you may find you owe the tax man a large amount!
Mars is currently zooming through your 2nd house of income, indicating that expenses may be higher than usual. It seems you’ve been building up possessions in order to feel comfortable and secure, and maybe even spending money on them that doesn’t belong to you! On April 7th, Mars will oppose the Sun in your 8th house, and you may have to come to terms with your credit card bill! Alternatively, you could be dividing up property with a spouse or splitting up profits with a business partner, and if so, boundaries could get blurry. You seem locked in a battle with a partner as to what’s OUR money and what’s MY money, and it seems that neither side wants to budge. Perhaps money that you didn’t earn ( a partner’s money, family money, or investments) is no longer a reliable source of income for you, and you must look to find your own steady income.
April 15th may bring this matter to a climax, as a lunar eclipse falls in your 2nd house of income. The eclipse will conjunct the north node, which is considered a lucky point, so I think you may come out on top. The north node is urging you to find solid, predictable ways to earn a reliable income, instead of relying on a partner’s money or inheritance or investments. Perhaps at this time you get a large salary boost, or a new client brings in a lot of money for you. Unfortunately, it seems that any money coming in will go right back out again, perhaps to a debt, loan, bill, partner (alimony), or child (child support). There’s also a chance you don’t see any extra money coming in at all, and instead get a double dose of bills, bills, bills.
The reason I feel you will either owe money to another or lose shared money is because your ruler, Mercury, will copy the same series of difficult aspects that the Sun just did, during the exact same time as the eclipse! On April 13th, Mercury in your shared finances house will square Jupiter in your long-term goals house, on April 14th it will conjunct Uranus and square Pluto in your love and children house, and on April 15th it will oppose Mars in your income house. Sheesh! And here you were thinking your finances couldn’t get any worse!
I hate to say this, but I’m not even done! The planets prepare their final showdown on April 21st, when a cardinal cross occurs between your income house, shared money house, love/children/creativity house, and friendship/long-term goals house. Whatever is going on will come to a head, especially if you have a planet or point close to 13 degrees Capricorn, Libra, Aries, or Cancer. If you don’t know your chart, look it up here. The tenor of the month changes tracks after April 20th, when the Sun moves into your 9th house of travel and conjuncts your ruler, Mercury, on April 24th. You may plan a trip at this time, or perhaps even go on one now! Alternatively, you may learn that you were accepted into a higher learning program (like college or grad school), or a training camp or course of study of some kind.
