Summary: Saturn in your romance and children sector works with Jupiter and Uranus to bless writing projects, travel, and commitments. A major focus on personal projects and independence, with two eclipses and the North Node’s movement to your sign of Leo.
Extended Leo 2017 Horoscope: The end of 2016 saw some truly gorgeous aspects between some major heavy hitting planets in your love, children, partnership, and travel sectors, all making gorgeous and complementary aspects to your sign of Leo. Luckily, these planets (Saturn, Uranus, and Jupiter) will continue to dance together throughout 2017 to help you achieve your dreams!
Saturn is still making his way through your fun and love sector throughout 2017, suggesting that you may still be going through some difficulties, particularly in regards to a romance, child, pregnancy, or creative project. This is especially true for later born Leos. The good news, however, is that Saturn is also making a nice easy trine to your Sun, providing you with a good foundation to plan for the future, and ultimately blessing your initiatives.
Additionally, you’ve also got good luck Jupiter transiting your communication house, blessing contracts and commitments, as well as short travel, written projects, siblings, and vehicles.
In fact, Jupiter and Saturn will work together in January and late August to bring rewards to creative projects, children, pregnancy and romance. These are wonderful times to go on romantic trips, work on creative projects, or try for a baby.
Adding to your good fortune, Saturn will also be working with another change-making planet, Uranus, in your travel sector, further blessing all things romance and travel. Look to May and November to go on any romantic trips.
Unfortunately, it’s also possible you encounter some difficulties with travel this year. Particularly in February, when Mars will conjunct surprising Uranus in your travel house and the pair will oppose Jupiter in your transportation zone. You may have trouble with your car or other kind of transportation. Be sure to make a back up plan just in case.
Also watch out for March or early August, when mighty Jupiter in your communication house angers transformational Pluto in your work and health zone. It seems work or a health issue could disrupt any fun plans.
I would also avoid going on vacation in July, as Uranus in your travel house gets caught in an angry blast from Mars in your closure zone.
Eclipses this year fall in your relationship and identity houses, and the good news is that these are pretty friendly eclipses this year!
February 10th sees a lunar eclipse in your sign of Leo making beautiful music with three major heavy hitting planets- Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus. This eclipse could see you complete a writing or creative project, go on a fun trip, find romance, or even discover a pregnancy! It’s also possible that you make a major decision about a close relationship at this time.
The solar eclipse on August 21st in your sign of Leo has similarly gorgeous aspects, as it will not only invoke Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, but also bring Mars and the fated North Node to the party to help you achieve your dreams! Your life may take a powerful new direction at this time!
This focus on your personal initiatives and projects is further amplified by the movement of the fated North Node into your sign in late April. The North Node brings benefits and expansion to the area of life she transits, and luckily, it seems that she will be making some very positive connections this year!
In June, the North Node will reach out happily to Venus and Uranus, blessing travel, education, and spirituality.
September is another gorgeous North Node month, as she’ll send smooches to both Saturn in your love and children house and Jupiter in your communication zone. This is a great time to address romantic, child-related, or creative or writing goals.
Now, back to eclipses…
August 7th sees another eclipse- this time lunar- and this time it falls in your opposite sign of Aquarius- your relationship sector. Once again, this eclipse will reach out happily to Jupiter and Saturn in your travel and love zones, blessing matters of this nature. Remember, lunar eclipses tend to bring situations to a completion, and solar eclipses see us launch new chapters and initiatives. You could finalize a relationship matter around this time, perhaps becoming engaged, married, or pregnant!
This year also sees the final eclipse of the Pisces/Virgo series, and this eclipse will be a solar eclipse occurring in your shared finances zone on February 26th. The eclipse will conjunct Neptune, and sextile Pluto in your work/health sector, suggesting that you could get a new job or bonus, or get funding for a project. It’s also possible that you undergo surgery at this time.
However, the eclipse will also opppose the North Node in your salary house, suggesting that whatever comes up could either be expensive or come with some difficulties.
Look for this to come to a head around September 6th, when there’s a corresponding full moon in Pisces.
The end of the year sees the tide shift to other areas of life, as Jupiter moves into your home zone in November, and Saturn moves into your work and health house in December.
Jupiter in your house of home and family will bring wonderful blessings to this area of life, and you could move into a bigger, better place, welcome a new addition to your family, or find yourself surrounded by your family a lot. December is extra lovely, as good luck Jupiter makes a loving trine with Neptune in your shared finances zone.
Mercury retrogrades this year from
April 9th- May 3rd (in Taurus/Aries, your houses of career and travel),
August 12- Sept 5th (in Virgo, your salary sector), and
December 3rd- 22nd (Sagittarius, your love and children sector)
Since Mercury rules both your salary house and your friendship and goals zone, you may rethink and review these areas of life during those times as well.
Venus retrogrades from:
March 4th-April 15th (in Aries/Pisces- your travel and shared finances houses)
Venus rules both your career sector and your communication zone.
