2013 has been a bit of a paradox for you, dear Libra. While you may have landed the job or title of your dreams, your salary just doesn’t seem to be up to par. This, unfortunately, is due to Saturn’s lengthy transit of your 2nd house of income. You may be finding that you’re bringing less money in, or perhaps you’ve had some big expenses that are eating into your bottom line. Unfortunately, this is a trend that will last into 2014, and even 2015.
The good news is that Jupiter will continue to transit your career house until July 2014. If you didn’t land that great job yet, you just might by the time Jupiter’s done.
Your sign has had a rough go of it over the last few years (along with your cousins Aries, Cancer, and Capricorn). Some major battles have been brewing between planets in these fellow cardinal signs. Unfortunately, January 1st, 2014 is no different, and the first of the year brings a messy new moon in your 4th house of home. The moon will conjunct Pluto and Mercury, and square Mars in your first house, Uranus in your partnership house, and Jupiter in your 10th house of career. Your home needs may not be jiving with your career needs, or perhaps you’re fighting with a partner about marriage.
The full moon at the end of January will bring a career matter to a head. Saturn in your 2nd will be well aligned, so hopefully this will bring good news to distract you from any problems on the home front.
February looks much better, with a new moon in your love house supporting Uranus in your partnership house. You may begin a new love relationship at this time, or decide to try for a baby with your partner. The full moon this month will occur in your house of hopes and dreams, and Mars will be sextile from your sign, indicating that something important to you will culminate at this time!
Speaking of Mars, you are lucky enough to have this energetic planet in your first house for 8 whole months! Mars gives you drive and motivation in spades, and most signs only get it for a month or two! If you put that energy to good use, there’s no telling what you can achieve!
March is also a lovely month, as the new moon in your work house is beautifully angled to Jupiter in your career house, Pluto in your house of home, and also conjunct Neptune. This may be the time you land the job of your dreams if you have been looking. Neptune’s presence indicates good luck if you work in a creative or medical profession. Also this month, the north node of the moon will move in to your sign. For the last few years, the north node has been in your 2nd house of income, encouraging you to get your financial affairs in order, live within your means, and avoid credit cards or relying on others for money. With its move into your sign of Libra, the north node is asking you to own your own power, avoid co-dependency, and really stand up for what it is that you want in life. With the south node in your 7th house, you may encounter some difficulties with partnerships this year that are designed to make you better able to go it alone.
April is sticky for all signs, but especially for the cardinal signs like you (I know, I know- you’re getting sick of hearing that!). The Sun and Uranus in your house of partnerships will square Jupiter in your career house, Mars and the moon in your sign, and Pluto in your house of home all month. Blech. Whatever changes you are going through in regards to your home, relationship, and career, will come to a head this month. April also brings two eclipses. One, a lunar eclipse will fall in your sign, and something close to you will culminate (it appears friendly, but it’s not especially lucky). The other, a solar eclipse, occurs in your 8th house of shared money and transformation, and will conjunct Mercury and sextile Neptune in your work and health house. You may get a bonus from a work project, or receive an inheritance. Watch the next 6 months to see how this plays out.
In July, Jupiter will move on to your 11th house of hopes and dreams. You may see your circle of friends expand over the next year, or find yourself experiencing things that you once thought were too good to be true! Even better- in September, Jupiter will trine Uranus in your partnership house. You could get engaged or married, or start the business of your dreams!
On October 8th, the full moon lunar eclipse falls in your partnership sign of Aries, and will make a golden triangle with Jupiter in your dreams house and Mars in your house of commitment. If you’re not yet married, this date has your name all over it! Contracts and commitments in general will be steeped in good luck at this time, especially since the golden triangle will occur in the fire signs which are wildly compatible with your air sign of Libra.
As if that weren’t enough, there’s a solar eclipse in your income house later in October which will conjunct your ruler Venus, and sextile Neptune in your 6th house of work and health. You may begin a project that will net you profits at some point over the next six months (from Oct 2014- May 2015). Even better news, Saturn will briefly leave this same income sector on Christmas Eve, making your chances to increase your income even greater! Your sign has suffered so much over the last few years- if anyone deserves a break, it’s you! 2014 will be the year you begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Libra Monthly Horoscopes
[…] After dealing with money all last month, you’ll be pleased to know this month sees you more focused on writing, communication projects, and travel. Early in the month, the Sun in your 3rd house will trine Uranus in your partnership house in compatible signs Sagittarius and Aries, and you may go on a short trip with your partner. You have great aspects, so if you haven’t planned it yet, please do! Alternatively, you may sign a contract with a new business partner or even pick up a marriage license! Friday the 13th is a really lovely day, as Jupiter in your house of career will trine Saturn in your income house. You may receive a payout or bonus from a work project, or even get a new job with a great income! Sweet! The 17th sees you focused on travel or foreign partners, with the full moon in Gemini. You may finish a writing or publishing project, or perhaps learn of your acceptance (or denial) into university. This full moon is neutral, so it’s hard to tell whether the news will be good or bad. This month also sees Mars move out of your 12th house and into your 1st- GREAT news for starting new projects or initiatives. On the 22nd, your ruler Venus goes retrograde in your 4th house of home, so you may have to go back and fine tune housing or family issues for a few months. It’s ok- Mars will be in your sign for 8 whole months- much longer than usual! You’re in a good spot to achieve a lot if you put your mind to it. I’m not gonna lie- the end of the month is tough. The Sun will conjunct Mercury and Pluto in your home sector, and they will all square Mars in your sign and Uranus in your partnership sign. This aspect will continue into January, so keep up your antenna. To read your 2014 horoscope, go here […]
