Extended Horoscope: On the very first day of the month, your ruler, Mercury, goes direct in your career sector, so if you’ve been looking for jobs or uncertain about which direction your career is headed in, you should now gain clarity.

In fact, you may hear good career news on July 4th, as the interplay between your ruler, Mercury, and the North Node in your income sector indicates you may even get a raise or new job. Happy 4th of July, indeed! On July 6th, Venus in your professional sector smooches Uranus in your other money house, doubling down on this possibility!

July 13th may prove to be another good day for your finances, as Mars conjuncts the North Node in your income sector, and the pair reach out to Venus in your career house. It seems VIPs are noticing your hard work and want to reward you for it!

Backing up a little bit, the new moon on June 27th blew a breath of fresh air into friendships and long-term goals, and because it came arm in arm with Neptune in your partnership sector, it seems that you’re ready to make a deeper commitment in love or business. You may have gotten engaged to your boo or started a company with a business partner.

Your focus will turn even more closely to plans and friends as more planets crowd into Cancer throughout the month. Your ruler, Mercury, joins on July 13th, while Venus does so on July 18th. And as I’m sure you remember, Jupiter has been this sector since July 2013. 

Cancer and the 11th house rule not only friendships, goals, and hopes and dreams, but also technology, philanthropy, and group collaborations, so this month all of these things appear to be front and center for you.

July 8th and July 24th may bring good news to these kinds of plans and commitments, as the Sun and then Mercury send beautiful beams to Saturn in your communication sector. More good news may follow on July 19th and  July 24th, when Mercury and then Venus smooch Neptune in your relationship house. All of these days are positive for travel and friendship as well.

Do be careful for some overlapping challenges on these days however, as it’s possible that trips or plans will cost you a pretty penny. This is due to the Sun and Mercury’s irritation with Uranus in your 8th house of shared finances on July 8th and July 24th.

July 15th and July 18th are two more troublesome days for your bank account, when the Sun will be angry with planets in your income sector. Again, it appears that a long-term goal, social engagement, or project could prove to be more expensive than you thought.

Additionally this month, we have the mighty Pluto in your love and children sector facing off against several planets in Cancer throughout the month, pitting group plans and projects against personal ones. It’s possible you feel torn between your boo and your friendships, or that a company or project you’re working on is at odds with the needs of your children or personal creative projects. You are likely to feel this influence most on July 4th, when the Sun will oppose Pluto; on July 21st, when your ruler, Mercury, will oppose Pluto, and on July 27th, when Venus will oppose Pluto.

In fact, a love, child, or creative issue will come to a head on July 12th, when a full moon occurs in this sector holding hands with Saturn in your communication sector. You may take a trip with or make a commitment to your boo, work on a creative writing project, or hear news regarding a child or pregnancy.

Again, it seems that whatever comes up could be expensive, as the full moon angers Uranus in in your sector of joint finances. It seems a child or leisure activity could prove to be costly, or perhaps you argue with your boo over who pays for what. Uranus will actually turn retrograde (I know- it never ends!) in this same sector of joint money on July 21st, so over the next five months you may end up merging your finances with another person, receiving money from a parent or spouse, or reviewing your investments. In fact, you can expect big news on this front in October with the Aries lunar eclipse.

The big news of the month- heck, of the whole year!- is good-luck Jupiter’s entry into Leo and your 12th house of endings on July 16th. Admittedly, this isn’t the most glamorous position for Jupiter, but it’s great for Virgo’s who enjoy working on solitary projects, are trying to get over a toxic person or habit, or need to recover from a health issue. Jupiter will also help you end old projects, relationships, and situations that no longer serve you, in order to help you give birth to new, better projects, relationships, and situations.

The great thing about having Jupiter in the sign right behind yours is that now Jupiter is THAT much closer to your own sign of Virgo. Summer 2015 will be your time to shine, so use the next 12 months to work hard on your dreams. You may just find that next year they come true!

Use the gorgeous new moon that appears this month on July 26th to wrap up this chapter of your life so that you can prepare for a brand new 12 year cycle in Summer 2015.

Just be careful, as Mars will square the moon from your communication sector, indicating that transportation and writing projects may prove troublesome for you at this time. Watch that you don’t put your foot in your mouth, and be sure to check your tires and change your oil if you go on a road trip. Commitments made at this time may prove problematic.

Extended Horoscope: The new moon on May 28th could sweep in a new career opportunity for you, and Mars’ good angle indicates it may come with an awesome new salary! Perhaps you get a promotion and a salary bump, or maybe you get a whole new job!

Just be careful, as the moon will anger Neptune in your 7th house of partnerships, suggesting that a personal or business partner could be upset by these newfound developments. If you do take another opportunity, try to let your current employer down gently.

You may hear good salary news on June 5th, when the Sun smooches Uranus in your money house. Good career news may come on June 19th, when the Sun conjuncts your ruler, Mercury in this sector.

Things could get a little hectic this month, as your ruler Mercury retrogrades in your career sector from June 6th to July 1st. If you’re starting a new position, it may take some time to catch up and learn the ropes. It’s also possible that a career opportunity disrupts existing life plans, which you now need to revise. Because Mercury is your ruler, you tend to feel its retrograde more than most signs, so try to keep your cool if things seem a little confusing. It will all straighten out soon enough.

Luckily, Monday, May 12th should be better, as Mercury in your career sector reaches out to Mars in your income house, suggesting a raise or bonus is on its way to you.

A full moon occurs on Wednesday, May 14th in your communication sector, indicating that you may be presented with a contract at this time. Alternatively, you could get a new car, experience difficulties with an existing car, hear big news about your sibling, or go on an important trip. Saturn’s presence to the full moon suggests that whatever comes up will be in place for a very long time, but also that it may feel more difficult than you anticipated. Extended Horoscope: April 28th sees a solar eclipse in your 9th house of travel, higher education, and foreign people and places, indicating that you may be making some initiations in this area of life. The eclipse is conjunct Mercury, and reaching out to Neptune in your partnership sector, suggesting that a prominent person in your life may be along for the ride! Sometime over the next six months, you may go on an important trip with your honey, or perhaps partner up with someone on a writing, publishing, or broadcasting project. The eclipse also reaches out to Pluto in your 5th house of fun and love, so if you’re going on a trip, it’s sure to be full or romance and fun! Any business partnerships will have extra creative power behind them as well. Watch for May 5th, when the Sun in your travel sector will smooch Jupiter in your house of hopes and dreams- good news may come to you on this day!

There are a few hiccups to get past early in the month. On May 2nd, Mercury in your foreign travel sector will oppose Saturn in your local travel sector, indicating that you may have scheduling or transportation issues. You may even have a hard time communicating anything you’ve been wanting to say, as these sectors also rule higher thinking and communication. This would be a poor time to sign a contract or buy a car. This aspect will be similar on May 10th, when it will be the Sun’s turn to oppose Saturn.

Money matters should feel some relief, as Venus enters your 8th house of shared finances on May 3rd. Additionally, career matters begin to ramp up on May 7th, as your ruler, Mercury, enters Gemini and your 10th house, giving you the professional edge. Just watch out for May 11th, when both of the planets will cause disruption. On this day, Venus will oppose Mars in your income house, once again blurring the lines between money you earn, share, and spend. Also on this day, Mercury will square Neptune in your partnership sector, and you could fight with an employer, business partner, or significant other.

Luckily, May 12th is looking good, as you ruler, Mercury, reaches out to Mars, possibly bringing news of a raise your way!

May 14th sees a full moon occur in Scorpio and your 3rd house of communication. An important contract may be presented to you on this day, but read the fine print carefully. May 18th will be a day to watch out for, however, as Venus in your money sector will square Jupiter in your house of long-term projects and friendships. The good news is that beginning on May 19th, Mars will go direct in your 2nd house of earned income. If money that you earned was held up in any way, it should now hit your account. Unfortunately the news may not all be great on Monday, as you could fight with a friend over money or learn that financing for a long-held dream has fallen through. Tuesday may bring a twist as well, as unexpected expense or windfall pops up. If you do get some money, you may just have to turn around and spend it on Wednesday, due to a bill having to do with a child, lover, or creative hobby. This could have you stressed out by Thursday, when you wonder if your career is really the right one for you. Luckily, things shape up by Friday, when Venus makes a positive connection between your work and income sectors, and you may just turn out on top after all. Saturday, Venus moves in your partnership sign, setting you up for a lovely and romantic month with your one and only.

You could even fight with a friend, child or lover over money, or financing for a dream project may fall apart. The lunar eclipse in your income house mid-month will either save the day or add to your financial worries. Luckily, April is well-starred for partnerships and children, as Venus makes positive connections to your love and goals houses. A lovely solar eclipse at the end of the month offers positive beginnings in travel and higher learning.

Extended Horoscope: This month could be chaotic for finances, as planets in your income, shared money, love, and friendship houses battle for the first three weeks of April. We start off with a messy new moon on March 30th in your 8th house of shared finances that squares Jupiter in your long-term goals house and Pluto in your creativity house. It seems you may hit a financing snag for a long-term project, or perhaps a child or lover requires a large expense. If you were expecting a bonus, it may be smaller than you thought, and there’s a possibility it may not come at all. Alternatively, an investment could prove to be a poor one, or a spouse or partner’s income may hit a speedbump or even disappear. Another alternative is that a romance or friendship falls apart, causing you to take a break from one another at this time.

Because the Moon will conjunct Uranus, it seems that whatever happens will come up out of the blue, and I think you will hear news sometime between March 30 and April 2nd, as the Sun hits a series of difficult aspects on these days. On March 31st, it will square Jupiter, on April 1st it will conjunct Uranus, and on April 2nd it will square Pluto. I hope you already did your taxes, because if you do them on one of these days you may find you owe the tax man a large amount!

Mars is currently zooming through your 2nd house of income, indicating that expenses may be higher than usual. It seems you’ve been building up possessions in order to feel comfortable and secure, and maybe even spending money on them that doesn’t belong to you! On April 7th, Mars will oppose the Sun in your 8th house, and you may have to come to terms with your credit card bill! Alternatively, you could be dividing up property with a spouse or splitting up profits with a business partner, and if so, boundaries could get blurry. You seem locked in a battle with a partner as to what’s OUR money and what’s MY money, and it seems that neither side wants to budge. Perhaps money that you didn’t earn ( a partner’s money, family money, or investments) is no longer a reliable source of income for you, and you must look to find your own steady income.

April 15th may bring this matter to a climax, as a lunar eclipse falls in your 2nd house of income. The eclipse will conjunct the north node, which is considered a lucky point, so I think you may come out on top. The north node is urging you to find solid, predictable ways to earn a reliable income, instead of relying on a partner’s money or inheritance or investments. Perhaps at this time you get a large salary boost, or a new client brings in a lot of money for you. Unfortunately, it seems that any money coming in will go right back out again, perhaps to a debt, loan, bill, partner (alimony), or child (child support). There’s also a chance you don’t see any extra money coming in at all, and instead get a double dose of bills, bills, bills.

The reason I feel you will either owe money to another or lose shared money is because your ruler, Mercury, will copy the same series of difficult aspects that the Sun just did, during the exact same time as the eclipse! On April 13th, Mercury in your shared finances house will square Jupiter in your long-term goals house, on April 14th it will conjunct Uranus and square Pluto in your love and children house, and on April 15th it will oppose Mars in your income house. Sheesh! And here you were thinking your finances couldn’t get any worse!

I hate to say this, but I’m not even done! The planets prepare their final showdown on April 21st, when a cardinal cross occurs between your income house, shared money house, love/children/creativity house, and friendship/long-term goals house. Whatever is going on will come to a head, especially if you have a planet or point close to 13 degrees Capricorn, Libra, Aries, or Cancer. If you don’t know your chart, look it up here. Whatever house holds a planet or point at those signs/degrees will probably be affected. While you’re there, take note of your rising sign, and be sure to read the horoscope for that sign is well! It will help you get a more complete snapshot, and is just as important as your Sun sign!

Ok. Let’s take a deep breath, put all of that behind us, and move on to the good news, shall we? Venus enters Pisces and your partnership sector on April 7th, and conjuncts Neptune in this sector on April 11th. You may have a romantic evening at this time, and perhaps even make a commitment to another! Just make sure to keep your eyes open, as Neptune can make things (and people!) appear a little too good to be true sometimes.

April 17th is another great day for romance, as Venus reaches out to Jupiter in your 11th house of long-term goals, and Pluto in your fifth house of love. If you’re single, get out on the town- you never know who you’ll meet. If you’re already dating and committed, you may now discuss getting engaged, having a baby, or even discover a pregnancy at this time! April 24th is another fine day to make a commitment to a lover, as Venus reaches out to sturdy Saturn in your 3rd house of commitments and contracts.

The tenor of the month changes tracks after April 20th, when the Sun moves into your 9th house of travel and conjuncts your ruler, Mercury, on April 24th. You may plan a trip at this time, or perhaps even go on one now! Alternatively, you may learn that you were accepted into a higher learning program (like college or grad school), or a training camp or course of study of some kind. The solar eclipse on April 28th occurs in this sector as well, and my is it a beauty! It’s sextile to Neptune in your 7th house of partners, and trine Pluto in your 5th house of love! If you are going on or planning a big trip sometime in the next 6 months, it appears to be a very romantic one! Alternatively, at this time you may begin a creative project of some kind- such as writing or publishing a novel or producing a broadcast- and if so, it appears to be very well starred! Some Virgo’s may even decide to get their MFA in art, writing, painting, or literature, and if so, you also have lovely aspects. All in all, I’d say the end of April is looking MUCH better than the beginning!

Virgo Daily Horoscopes- Week of March 23rd

Unfortunately, today may bring a blow to your finances, as the Sun squares the Moon in your 5th house of children, romance, and fun. One of these things might prove to be more expensive than you planned, or perhaps you fight with a lover over finances. Although this is a passing influence, the planets will brew up more trouble in these sectors by the end of the month,  so pay attention to whatever comes up.

Monday, March 24: It seems your love life has been going through an intense transformation ever since 2008, when Pluto entered this sector. Alternatively, you may have had a child or two, or perhaps seen your children go through big changes of their own. If neither of these apply to you, it could be that you’ve been harnessing a particular creative talent, or giving up hobbies and interests that no longer suit you. Today, the Moon joins Pluto in this sector, and you may feel amplified emotions towards a romance, child, or creative endeavor. Mercury also reaches out to the North Node in your communication house, a great aspect to make a commitment or get on the same page with someone. If you’re thinking of partnering up in love or business, or making a joint decision, today is a great day to do so.

Tuesday, March 18: Venus, currently gliding through your 6th house of work and health, makes beautiful music with Uranus in your 8th house of money today. You may get a raise or bonus, welcome news I’m sure! If you applied for a business loan, today you may hear good news. Store it away and resist the urge to spend.

Wednesday, March 19:  The Moon in your communication house is nicely angled to Jupiter in your house of friendship, indicating that a group outing may be on the agenda tonight. You may feel good about friendships or long-term plans, although it’s possible a work matter is nagging at the back of your mind.

Thursday, March 20: The Sun leaves your partnership sector and enters your 8th house of other people’s money today, highlighting this area of life for you. Proceed carefully, as the end of the month brings a nasty new moon to your finances. Both your income house and your shared money house will get hit, so get your affairs in order now.

Friday, March 21: Your ruler, Mercury, conjuncts Neptune in your partnership house today, which could mean one of a few different things. If you’re in love, today may be a fine day to have a special date, as Neptune can feel downright magical sometimes.
