2014 January Horoscopes- Sagittarius

A bunch of planets and the new moon that occurred on the 1st took place in your income sector, usually good news except for the trouble some other planets are stirring up! Uranus in your 5th house may have brought surprise baby or love news- perhaps a child is proving to be expensive, or a lover isn’t bringing in as much income as you expected. Additionally, Mars in your 11th house of friendship may feel at times like there’s a never-ending parade of people trying to hang out with you! All those margaritas and group dinners may be pulling at your purse strings. Jupiter (your ruler) is in your 8th house of other people’s resources, so you may have come into a bonus or inheritance of some kind over the last 7 months, but this month it’s opposing the new moon in your income house. You may be feeling fuzzy between what’s MINE and what’s OURS, Saggy (can I call you Saggy? I’m gonna call you Saggy). Luckily, on the 11th, Venus will conjunct the Sun in Capricorn and sextile Saturn in your house of closure. You may end a project that nets you some income, or perhaps receive a raise- this is especially true if you work in a hospital, institution, or medical field. The 16th sees a full moon in cancer and your 8th house of joint resources. You may receive a bonus or inheritance, or your partner could come into some funds. The whole tone of the month changes towards the end of January, as Mercury and the Sun head into your 3rd house of communication and sextile Uranus in your 5th house. A sibling may announce a pregnancy or engagement, or you may find love on a short trip with friends. Alternatively, you may sign a contract for a creative or writing project. January 2014 Horoscope- Capricorn

capricorn januaryThere seem to be HUGE, transformative changes going on in your life, Cappy Cap, as a host of planets build up in your sign and make all kinds of chaotic aspects! Some of these changes may prove difficult for the time being, simply because all changes require us to let go of something close to us. For you, the changes seem to be home and career related. The new moon on the first brings Mercury, the Sun, Pluto, and the moon together in your first house of self, squaring Mars in your career house, Uranus in your 4th house of home, and Jupiter in your partnership house. That hits ALL of your angles, so you seem to be feeling this more than most! You may begin a new career venture that requires you to move, or perhaps a surprise move will interfere with career plans. Partnership matters may also prove fuzzy, as you’re torn between what’s best for ME and what’s best for US. On the 11th, the Sun will conjunct Venus in your sign and sextile Saturn (your ruler) in your 11th house of friendships. A dream may come true, or a friend may prove instrumental in a plan. On the 16th, a full moon occurs in your 7th house of partners, and it will also trine Scorpio in your house of hopes and dreams/friendship. Jupiter has been in this sector of parters since July 2013, bestowing grace and fortune in this area, so watch what comes up around the full moon. On the 12th, Mercury will move into Aquarius and your second house of income, and the Sun will follow on the 21st. Both will sextile Uranus in your career house, indicating that a surprise assignment or source of moolah will flow your way. The new moon in your income sector  at the end of the month brings gorgeous aspects, and you may begin a new career path or income stream at this time. Just be careful, as Pluto and Jupiter will continue to be in opposition. Pluto in your sign has been turning you inside out since 2008 to make changes so that you can live your best life. Now Jupiter is bestowing good fortune on a partnership matter, and the two sides of your life can at times feel at odds with each other. January 2014 Monthly Horoscopes- Aquarius

aquarius januaryThe beginning of the month sees you in turtle mode, Aquarius- remaining in your shell, being with just your thoughts or a close loved one, and perhaps finishing up projects. Enjoy the quiet while you’ve got it, because the end of the month brings your coming out party- your own personal new year! The beginning of January could bring frustrations. You have a build-up of planets in your 12th house of closure, creativity, and retreat, indicating that you may be letting go of the old, in order to make way for the new. Because the new moon on the 1st is in harsh angle to Mars, Pluto, Uranus, and Jupiter, you may be dealing with transportation problems, work problems, or perhaps even a sibling problem. Contracts and writing projects may hit snags. Travel would not be advisable at this time! Right after that, both Mercury and the Sun will oppose Jupiter in Cancer (your 6th house of work and health). You may be dealing with an underhanded co-worker, or a secret that brings you distress could be illuminated regarding a work project. Luckily, the 11th should prove to be a fine day, when Venus conjuncts the Sun and sextiles Saturn in your career house. Whatever comes up should be good for your career. There’s a chance you could hear bad news on this day (conjunctions can bring surprises), but I suspect that whatever you hear will be best in the long run. The 16th sees a full moon in Cancer and your 6th house of work and health sextile Saturn in your career house. A work project may come to an end or culminate at this time. You may start a new job, leave an old job, or get a new co-worker or assistant. Watch your health, as illness may come to bloom during a full moon in this sector. Here’s where we get to the good news, as the planets begin to migrate into your sign and infuse you with energy! Mercury moves into Aquarius on the 12th, and the Sun moves in on the 21st! On the 17th, Mercury sextiles Uranus in your third house of contracts, and the Sun will do the same on the 29th. Uranus is your ruler, so you may hear good news on these days. Sign any contracts or get to work on any writing projects- if you’re a reporter, this is a fine aspect- you may get a big scoop! Alternatively, you may hear big news from a sibling, or get a new car. The new moon on January 30th is beautifully angled to your ruler Uranus, continuing these lovely aspects for at least two weeks, and even for the full year. Happy new year to you! Just be careful- the end of the month sees Jupiter in Cancer opposing Pluto in Capricorn, so you may still have some messy work or health stuff to deal with.
