Late January saw a new moon in your partnership sector holding hands with Uranus in your travel sector. What a beautiful aspect for you! You may begin a new chapter with your sweetie- perhaps planning a vacation or going on one now. You may even decide to make a deeper commitment to one another, either becoming exclusive or even deciding to get married! Single? Perhaps the new moon brought a new business partnership your way, maybe one that has to do with publishing, broadcasting, or the travel industry.

Take advantage of the good energy in the first five days of February, cause after that things may get a little sticky. Mercury goes retrograde in this same sector of partners from February 6th to March 1st. You or your partner may seem to be acting a little distant or off, and you may have to review the details of your arrangement to make sure they work for both of you. Watch out specifically for February 11th, when the Sun in your partnership sector will square Saturn in your house of home. You’re gonna feel this one, lion, as not only is the Sun your ruler, but also these planets are on the fixed sign axis along with you. You may fight with a partner about a housing matter, or perhaps  a family obligation will interfere with romantic plans. If it’s an employer or business partner you’re having problems with, perhaps they feel you’re taking too many days off for personal reasons. A similar aspect will occur on Feb 19th, but this time it will be Mercury who angers mighty Saturn. I think you’re gonna feel the burn more on the 11th, simply because the Sun is your ruler.

Luckily, Valentine’s day was tailor made for you! A full moon occurs in YOUR sign, and a dream close to your heart may come true. Even better, Mars will reach out to your ruler, the Sun, with a beneficial signal from your 3rd house, giving communication and transportation matters a lucky boost. Normally I would say this is a great aspect to sign a contract, but don’t forget about that pesky old Mercury retrograde. Try to hold off signing any official paperwork until after February. Sometimes we can’t do this, so do what you have to do, but keep in mind that terms and conditions might reveal themselves to be a little different than you thought come March.

The 22nd could be an interesting day, when the Sun conjuncts Neptune in your 8th house of other people’s money. It’s a little tough to know how this will play out, as Neptune can be both beneficial and deceitful. Having Neptune in your financial house worries me a little bit, because Neptune casts a fog and conceals details. However, Neptune can also inspire and soften and heal, so you may hear good news on this day. You’ll have to wait and see!

Switching gears to work news, Venus goes direct in your 6th house of work and health on February 1st. If work assignments seemed confusing or a job situation was unclear, it should all straighten out now. If you want to get a new haircut or color, or some kind of cosmetic or medical procedure, try to do it in the first few days of February when you have the protection of Venus in this house. Just make sure to do it before Mercury goes retrograde on Feb 6th. Otherwise, hold off until March 1st. Another way to make use of Venus’s energy in this house is to decorate your office. Heck, you may even ask out that co-worker you’ve had your eye on!

On the 24th, Venus will reach out to Saturn in your home sector, and you may get an assignment that allows you to work from home. Alternatively, you could get a job that has to do with real estate or your family business. Watch out for the 25th, when Jupiter in your 12th house will square Uranus in your travel house. You could become ill around this time, and any travel will probably become a nuisance.

sagittarius februaryAfter a month that may have been peppered with some unpleasant financial surprises, you’ll be pleased to find that money matters begin to straighten out on February 1st. This is due to Venus returning to direct motion in your income sector. Be sure to take advantage of this time, as unfortunately Mercury will retrograde just 6 days later (on Feb 6) and stay that way until March 1st. Doh! Mercury will first move backwards in your 4th house of home, making matters of this nature fuzzy. Then it will retrograde into your 3rd house of communication. Emails could get lost and miscommunications are likely. Double check your work, make sure your car is tuned up, and if you’re traveling, make sure you have a plan B, as travel plans are likely to get screwed up.

The new moon that took place on the last day of January occurs in this same communications house. It will be friendly to Uranus in your 5th house of love and fun, so you may take a trip with a lover or child, or perhaps begin a creative writing assignment. If any kind of contract comes up, be sure to sign it before Mercury goes retrograde on the 6th (or try to wait until March 1st). Any agreements made during the retrograde will likely have to change in the future, as the conditions would not be what you were hoping for or expecting. This would be a great time to look for a new car if you are in the market, but do not purchase anything during the retrograde.

The 11th may prove to be a harsh day, when the Sun in your communication/transportation sector will square Saturn in your 12th house of closure. Be careful on the road, as you may experience car troubles, such as a flat tire or transmission  issue. Alternatively, you may fight with a sibling or inadvertently reveal a friend’s secret. The 18th has similar aspects, when it will be Mercury’s turn to square Saturn.

The full moon that occurs on Valentine’s Day is just lovely, as it takes place in fellow fire sign, Leo, which blends wonderfully with your sign. Additionally, it occurs in your 9th house of travel, the house that your sign happens to rule! One of your best Sagittarius traits is your adventurous spirit, so why not take some sort of adventure this V day? Grab your date and get out of town! The full moon will sextile Mars in your house of hopes and dreams, indicating an extra special time. Single? The 11th house also rules friendship, a wonderful aspect to plan a group outing. Perhaps a vacation with friends is just what the doctor ordered this Valentine’s day! The moon could also manifest in other way; perhaps you find out you got accepted into the grad school or university you applied to, or a writing assignment comes to fruition!

Changing tracks, the 22nd is a wildcard of a day, as the Sun will conjunct Neptune in Pisces and your 4th house of home. Pisces is square to your sign, so you may feel this more than others, but it’s hard to know whether the news will be positive or negative. I feel it could go either way. Perhaps you get great news- a contractor begins work on your dream house, or you find the home of your dreams. Perhaps your parents call with a happy announcement. Neptune is a magical and dreamy planet- right at home in Pisces!- meaning the news could be out of this world amazing! On the other hand, Neptune is also known to be evasive and foggy- it’s the planet of illusion and it can conceal details. This, coupled with the fact that Pisces is square to your sign, gives me pause. However, you have such beautiful aspects in your home sector next month that I can’t imagine the news would be too bad. You’ll just have to wait and see what pops up!

The 24th may bring good financial news, as Venus in your income sector will sextile Scorpio in your 12th house of closure. Unfortunately, the 25th will be tough, as your ruler, Jupiter, in your 8th house of money, death, and transformation squares Uranus in your love house. You may fight with your love about money, or perhaps a child has a big expense. Perhaps you’re no longer getting the bonus you thought was headed your way. Luckily, good luck Jupiter will remain in this financial sector until July, so I suspect you won’t be down on your financial luck for long!

Capricorn February 2014 Monthly Horoscope

capricorn febRomance been making your head spin lately, Capricorn? Don’t fret- Venus goes direct in your sign on the 1st, and matters of the heart should become more clear. Venus rules your houses of love, marriage, and career, and has been traversing your sign for a few months now. You may have been reviewing love or career matters and deciding whether or not a job or relationship is right for you. At times, you could feel it’s possible to navigate these waters with a clear head! You’re not even sure what you want! After the 1st, these issues will come into clear focus and resume forward motion.

Adding to the good news, the new moon in your financial sector that takes place at the end of January is supported by Uranus in your home sector. If you’re looking to purchase or sell a home, these are excellent aspects! Alternatively, a job opportunity or new income stream may pop up that jives with your home needs. Perhaps this new job is even in real estate, or a work-from-home opportunity. Perhaps it will take you to a city where you’ve always wanted to live! Try to make any big decisions the first week of February, as Mercury will retrograde from Feb 6th- March 1st. Financial matters may become a little sticky, so be sure to review any documents or account info with a fine toothed comb.

The 11th could be a tough day, when the Sun in your income sector will square Saturn (your ruler!)  in your house of friendship/hopes and dreams. You may hear bad money news- perhaps you’re not getting the salary you expected from a project, or you fight with a friend about money. Valentine’s Day may prove to be welcome relief, when a full moon occurs in your OTHER financial house- the 8th house of bonuses and shared resources. This moon will trine Mars in Libra in your 10th house of career, and you may see a bonus or payout come in from your job. Perhaps a spouse comes into an inheritance. The following day, the Sun in your income sector will activate Mars in your career house, and you may get a raise. One of Capricorn’s best traits is your ability to work hard and stay in the game when others drop out. Enjoy your rewards when they come! Why not spend the new cash on a romantic couple’s weekend? It is Valentine’s day after all!

Watch out for any contracts that come up on the 22nd. The Sun will conjunct Neptune in your contract and communication house. Neptune can conceal details, and Mercury will still be retrograde, so read over everything and try to delay signing if you can. All that glitters is not always gold as they say! Alternatively, if you’re a writer, you may feel extra inspired on this day, so put that pen to paper, lock yourself in a room, and get to typing!

The 24th will be lovely for romance, as Venus in your sign will sextile Saturn (that’s your ruler!) in your 11th house of hopes and dreams. You may have a magical night with your love, or perhaps you’ll find romance with someone you thought was just a friend. The best romances are built on strong friendships, so go for it!

The 25th might be a bit tougher, as Jupiter (in your opposite sign of Cancer) will square Uranus in your house of home, and you may fight with a partner about a housing situation. Luckily, the good aspects in your communication house next month will grant you the gift of gab, so you should find the words to clear it all up.

Pisces February 2014 Monthly Horoscope

file00026883493The new moon that occurs at the end of January stimulates your rest and relaxation sector. You may find yourself even more introverted than usual, or perhaps working in solitude on a creative project that could bag you some coinage in the future.

On the 1st, Venus goes direct in your 11th house of friendships, and you could find your social calendar return to its normal pace. Problems with friends (or romances with them!) will be easier to navigate at this time, and stalled projects will be able to move forward. Single? Why not try an online dating service? You have the best aspects for this, as the planet of love (Venus) traverses your 11th house of technology. I found my person on Match.com when Jupiter (ruler of my 5th house of love) traversed my 11th house of technology (and no, no one paid me to say that!)

Mercury moves into your sign as well, but alas, it will retrograde back into your 12th house from February 6th to March 1st. During its retrograde, you should review home and partnership matters to make sure they’re fitting in with what you need. Most people advise against making any big decisions while Mercury is retrograde, but I don’t think you should change any big plans that are already in place. I wouldn’t INITIATE anything huge, but I wouldn’t break my back to change existing plans. Often with Mercury retrograde you’ll see a swirl of activity- suddenly everyone you know on Facebook is engaged or moving. The force of Mercury’s retrograde energy brings changes swiftly into our lives, and this is why I feel that it’s not bad to make moves during this time. Just make sure your eyes are open and you know all the details of what you’re getting into. This is not the time to cut corners!

February 11th may be a headache, as the Sun squares Saturn and travel or education plans could hit a snag. Valentine’s day may turn out to be all work and no play (in a good way!), as the full moon will occur in your 6th house and trine Mars in your 8th. You may get a bonus from a work project, which you can (ahem)  turn around and spend on your one and only! Perhaps a job offer comes in with a better salary than you’re used to. It may not be the job of your dreams, but a job is a job in this economy! Alternatively, you may get a new assistant, a new office, or a new co-worker.

The end of the month is divine, as the Sun will conjunct your ruler, Neptune, in your own sign on the 22nd, and a wish close to your heart may come true. Furthermore, on the 24th, Venus in your house of hopes and dreams will sextile Saturn in your travel and education house. You may hear word that you got into the top university you applied to, or perhaps you’ll just find yourself on a fun trip with friends!

The 25th will be tough, as your ruler, Jupiter, in your 5th house of love and children, will square Uranus in your income house. A child, lover, or hobby may eat up a chunk o’ change at this time, or you may have to deal with a large expense that throws your leisure plans off track. Alternatively, money you thought was coming in for a creative project may be held up. Luckily, March (your birthday month!) looks divine, so any hard luck should turn around.
