January 2014 Horoscopes- Pisces

New Years is all about spending time with friends, so how appropriate that a cluster of planets are currently partying together in your 11th house of friendship? Just be careful, cause this party could get a little out of control. The new moon that occurs on the first day of the year is conjunct Pluto and Mercury, and squaring Mars in your 8th house of money. Over the next week or so, an issue might come up with a friend- possibly involving money. Perhaps you find a  friendship or two going through a profound transformation. This house also rules both technology and your hopes and dreams for the future, so keep an eye on these areas as well. With Mars in your financial house, you may hear bad money news. Uranus is ALMOST squaring from your 2nd house of income as well, doubling down on this possibility. On the second, the sun will exactly conjunct Pluto, so this might be the day the issue comes up. On the 3rd, Mercury in the 11th will oppose Jupiter in your 5th house of love, fun, and children, and creative projects may stall. Sagittarius

After dealing with money all last month, you’ll be pleased to know this month sees you more focused on writing, communication projects, and travel. You have great aspects, so if you haven’t planned it yet, please do! 2014 starts off on a rocky note, with a messy new moon on January 1st in your 11th house of friendship/hopes and dreams. The new moon will conjunct both Pluto and Mercury, and it will square Mars in your 8th house of joint resources, as well as Jupiter in your 5th house of love and creativity. A friendship or long held dream may go through a profound transformation, and it may affect your financial situation.

Luckily, the full moon in your love house in January is supported by Saturn in your 9th house of broad thinking, and any love, travel, or publishing matters will go smoothly.

The new moon in February in your house of endings may bring one chapter of your life to a close, but because Uranus in Aries is supportive, it will all be for the best- you may even get a payout. This idea is further supported by the full moon in your work house in February, to which Mars in your money house is well-angled. You might get a new job with a better salary, or finish a work assignment that pays well.

March is your month to shine. A gorgeous new moon in your first house of self trines Jupiter in your 5th house of love and fame, sextiles Pluto in your house of dreams, AND conjuncts your ruler Neptune in your own sign. This is a heavenly new moon, and indicates that your whole year from birthday to birthday should be sparkling! Shortly after the new moon, Jupiter will go direct in your love and fame house. Jupiter rules your house of career, so you may have found career projects in limbo since November. Things should move more quickly now, especially if you’re in a creative field (which many Pisces are!).

There’s ALSO a solar eclipse at the end of April in your 3rd house of communication, which is conjunct Mercury and sextile Neptune in your own sign. You may begin a writing project or sign a contract for a project that’s close to your heart.

The big news in 2014 is that Jupiter moves into Leo ( your 6th house of work and health) in July. Currently, Jupiter is in your 5th house of love and creativity, and it’s been there since July of 2013. You may have met a new love, gotten engaged, become pregnant, or found creative projects to have a lucky boost. In general, things probably have felt light and fun.

Now, Jupiter will move into the 6th house, which is also a great position! While it may not sound super sexy, it’s pretty nice (in my opinion!) to have the beneficial planet of Jupiter bless the sector where you spend 8 hours of your day! Money makes the world go around, the world go around, the world go around. This month is all about the benjamins for you, though it’s hard to say if it will be going in or coming out. After a little ebb and flow each way, I think you’ll come out on top. Did something close to your heart come to a head last month? The beginning of this month might put on the finishing touches. On Oct 3, Mercury in your 9th house of travel and publishing will trine your ruler Neptune in your own sign. If you are writing a novel or screenplay, these are excellent aspects, filling you with creativity and passion. Unfortunately, just after that, the Sun in your 8th house of other people’s money will oppose Uranus in your income house, and square Pluto in your house of hopes and dreams.  The money you were counting on might not come through so you may have to put up a fight for it. The 11th house also rules friendships, so a friend who had promised to help you secure funding might be dropping the ball. Alternatively, you may be going through some kind of financial transformation. Because of these harsh angles, positive developments aren’t favored, but luckily, the lunar eclipse in your income house on the 18th is a friendly one. It falls at 26 degrees Aries, so late-born Pisces have the edge on this one. If you have any planet or point at 26 degrees Aries in your natal chart, it will offer clues as to where this eclipse will hit you. The full moon in your house of communication on the 19th will give you the words to admit it. Alternatively, this may be the day you sign an important contract or buy a new car.
