Sagittarius April Horoscope 2014

Extended Horoscope: This month holds difficult aspects for all the signs, so you may want to hold on to your hat! Things start out with a chaotic new moon in your 5th house of love and children on March 30th. The new moon will conjunct Uranus, indicating that news may come up out of the blue regarding a romance, child, or creative project. Because the moon will square your ruler, Jupiter, in your 8th house of finances and Pluto in your 2nd house of income, I fear that you may hear some upsetting financial news. This will play out over the last few days of March and first few days of April, as the Sun officially squares Jupiter on March 31st, conjuncts Uranus on April 1st, and squares Pluto on April 2nd.

It seems that a child or love affair may warrant a large expense, or perhaps funding for a creative project falls through. Additionally, any plans which require you to be the “star of the show” will go off the rails, unfortunately, as it seems the universe is pushing you to be “one of the crowd” right now. In fact, there’s a lunar eclipse in Libra and your 11th house of group collaborations on April 15th, that is arm in arm with the lucky North Node in this same sector. Group collaborations are favored now, and a dream close to your heart may come true. Alternatively, you may hear very good news from a friend or mentor in your life.

I feel this will be good news, due to the North Node’s vicinity, however, also during this time, Mercury will be performing the same series of squares that the Sun just did, so it’s likely that it will be hard to enjoy any good news over the sound of Mercury’s wrath. On April 13th, Mercury will square Jupiter (your ruler), on April 14th it will conjunct Uranus and square Pluto, and on April 15th it will oppose the Sun in your 5th house of romance and fun. It seems you’re being pulled between your own creative endeavors and group collaborations. Between fun and duty. Maybe even between romance and friendship. And it seems your finances are tied into all of that as well.

All of this may come to a head on April 21st, when Mars in your 11th house of long-term goals and friendship is pulled into a 4-way square with Jupiter and Pluto in your financial houses and Uranus in your love and children house. Think back to issues that came up in early January 2014, as well as last October. There was similar turbulence in the sky at that time, so whatever comes up now may be related to that, especially if you have a planet or cusp near 13 degrees Capricorn, Libra, Aries, or Cancer. Moving on to some good news, Venus moves into Pisces and your 4th house of home on April 7th, bringing some good energy to this area of life. On April 11th, Venus conjuncts Neptune in this sector, and you may hear good home news regarding a family or housing matter. Even better, April 17th sees Venus trine your ruler, Jupiter, in your house of other people’s money, and you may get approved for a home loan or learn of an inheritance or trust fund in your name. April 24th is another great day, when Venus will then reach out lovingly to Saturn in your 12th house of endings. If you are selling a home or saying goodbye to a family member, it is sure to be a good send off.

Additionally, work matters seem to be looking up, as the Sun moves into your 6th house of work and health on April 20th and conjuncts Mercury on April 24th. If you are presented with a contract for a new job or work assignment, this is a great day to sign! The end of the month brings a wonderfully fresh start to matters of the heart, with a lovely solar eclipse in your 5th house of romance, fun, and children.

Extended Horoscope: Hope you have on your helmet dear Cappy, ’cause April may prove to be a tough one for you. Planets in your home, self, career, and partnership sectors are at war this month, and because those represent the angles of your chart, you will almost surely be affected, especially if you were born between March 27th and January 9th, or have any planets or cusps between 4 and 18 degrees Capricorn, Libra, Aries, or Cancer. March 30th brings the first whiff of trouble, as a new moon occurs in your 4th house of home that’s conjunct Uranus, indicating that some news may come up out of the blue regarding a housing or family matter. Because this new moon is harshly angled to Jupiter in your partnership sector and Pluto in your own sign, it seems that a business or personal partner will be part of the equation as well. You may fight with your partner or about a home or family situation, or perhaps family obligations get in the way of something you had planned with your boo. Alternatively, your partner could receive some jarring news that necessitates putting a hold on any home plans.

This may play out over a couple days, as the Sun encounters a series of squares, conjunctions, and oppositions; on March 31st, the Sun will square Jupiter; on April 1st the Sun conjuncts Uranus; and April 2nd the Sun squares Pluto. You may be finding it hard to balance the needs of your home, your partner, and your career, the latter of which seems to be on fire these days with Mars energizing your professional pursuits.

In fact, a big career matter may come to a head on April 15th, when a lunar eclipse lights up this sector. I feel that you will hear good news, as the eclipse will conjunct the North Node, a point that is known to bring luck to the house it transits. You may get a new job or a promotion at an existing job, or land a high profile project or client, perhaps even getting some press or acclaim for your efforts. This is especially true if you were born between January 12th and January 22nd. Of course, there’s always the chance that you will see a job come to an end, but if so it appears to be for the best.

Unfortunately, it appears that any good career news may be tempered by stresses going on at home, as right around eclipse time Mercury will perform the same series of terrible aspects that the Sun just did…doh! On April 13, Mercury in your home sector will square Jupiter in your partnership sector; on April 14, it will conjunct Uranus and square Pluto in your own sign, and on April 15th, it will oppose Mars in your career sector. It seems you may be caught in the middle of a tug-of-war between family and work!

This will all come to a head around April 21st, when there’s a four way square between planets in your self, home, partnership, and career sectors. This could manifest a few different ways…you could begin or end a personal or business relationship that necessitates a move to another residence. Perhaps it’s your significant other who gets an opportunity that necessitates a move. Alternatively, a family or housing matter could interfere with your own career plans, and you may have to make a sacrifice of some kind. Think back to matters that came up in early January 2014, and last October, as there were similar aspects in the sky back then.

How about we move on to some good news, shall we? On April 7th, Venus will move into Pisces and your 3rd house of communication and transportation, and on April 11th Venus will conjunct Neptune in this sector. This is great news if you’re going on a trip or upgrading a vehicle.

April 17th should be simply divine, when Venus trines Jupiter in Cancer and your 7th house of partnerships, as well as Pluto in your own sign! If you’re dating, you may decide to become exclusive at this time, and if you’ve been dating a while, you may even become engaged! Coupled up caps should be sure to use this beneficial energy for a quick jaunt out of town, or even just a long, heartfelt conversation with your honey. If romance is not in the picture, you may be presented with a contract for a business partnership, and if so, you should definitely agree to it! Aquarius April Horoscope 2014

Early in the month, you may learn something unpleasant about  a work project or co-worker, or perhaps suffer a setback regarding a vehicle or contract. Mid-month the focus shifts to higher learning and foreign travel, as an eclipse takes place in this sector. Everything may come to a head in the 3rd week of April, as a four way square take place between your contract and communication house, work and health house, closure house, and travel house. Luckily, a friendly solar eclipse at the end of the month indicates positive beginnings in all things home and housing.

Extended Horoscope: This month is sure to be full of surprises- and not all of them pleasant- as your ruler, Uranus, finds itself wrestling with some of its planet buddies. The full moon that occurs on March 30 takes place in your 3rd house of transportation and communication and is conjunct Uranus, indicating that something may come up out of the blue. Because the Moon is square to both Jupiter in your 6th house of work and health, and Pluto in your 12th house of endings, I feel the news will  be stressful. A work contract may suddenly go awry, and could even bring a job or work assignment to an end. You could fight with co-workers or a client, or perhaps learn of some jarring information that had previously been hidden from you. Alternatively,  illness could get in the way of some planned travel. You might even experience a mechanical breakdown of some kind, so be careful on the road!

This seems to play out over the first few days of April, as the Sun squares Jupiter on March 31, conjuncts Uranus on April 1st, and squares Pluto on April 2nd. This would definitely not be a good time to enter into any agreements or contracts of any kind.  Then on April 7th, the Sun will oppose Mars in your OTHER travel house, the 9th house of broad horizons, creating a push-pull situation between details and big picture thinking, local travel and foreign travel, and micro-managing and letting go.

Luckily, you appear to have some protection in the 9th house, as Venus will trine the True Node in this sector on April 4th. The true node here is pushing you towards bigger picture thinking, so perhaps any setbacks you suffer early in the month in your 3rd house will ultimately push you to expand your horizons. Additionally, because Venus is currently in your sign, it appears that love and travel are connected for you.

In fact, there’s a lunar eclipse in this travel sector on April 15th that’s conjunct the North Node.  You may be on an important overseas trip, or perhaps hear big news about a foreign company or person that you will work with. Since the 9th house rules your in-laws, you may hear news about them as well. If you applied to college or University, you may hear news at this time as well.

Because the north node is a lucky point on the chart, I’m hoping that this eclipse will bring good news. To me, it seems that whatever problems are cooking up in your 3rd house of local people and places are designed to push you towards a 9th house way of thinking. However, during the same time as the eclipse, Mercury will be wreaking some problems of his own, which could make it hard to appreciate any good news that comes your way. Mercury will in fact perform the same series of squares and conjunctions that the Sun just did earlier in the month! On April 13th, Mercury will square Jupiter, and on April 15th, Mercury will both conjunct your ruler, Uranus, and square Pluto in Capricorn. Argh! This would not be the time to enter into any agreements.

Unfortunately, I’m not even finished yet! Later in the month, on April 21st, Mars will join these feisty planets to form a 4-way square between your houses of work, closure, contracts, and travel. It seems that these areas are about to be majorly uprooted in some way, and because your ruler is Uranus, you’re right in the thick of it. It seems that whatever has been brewing all month will come to a head at this time. This is especially true if you have a planet or point at or close to 13 degrees Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, or Libra. You can look  up your natal chart here and examine your chart. Whatever house contains a planet or point in those signs at those degrees will be affected. While you’re at it, take note of what your rising sign is, and be sure to read the horoscope for that sign as well! It’s just as important as your Sun sign.

Ok. Now that we’ve gotten the bad news out of the way, let’s share some good news shall we? Venus moves into your income house on April 7th, giving some extra blessings to this area for you. On the 11th, Venus will conjunct Neptune, and you may even hear some great news about a raise or new source of income! This is especially true if you work in a creative or artistic field.

April 17th could be a day to remember, as Venus in your income sector trines Jupiter in your work house, one of the most lovely aspects you could find! It will also trine Pluto in your closure house, so if you are ending a job or contract, or selling a vehicle, it seems you may get a nice payout.

Another great day is April 24th, when Venus in your income sector will trine Saturn in your career sector. It seems a raise is definitely on your way!

On April 20th, the Sun leaves your 3rd house of communication (thank gawd!) and enters your 4th house of home, switching your area of of focus dramatically. If you’re looking to move or sign a new lease, April 24th is a great day, as the Sun will conjunct Mercury in this sector, and Mercury rules contracts.

There’s a lovely eclipse at the end of the month in this sector, which is a welcome relief from all the chaos of early and mid-April. The eclipse takes place in your 4th house of home, is conjunct Mercury, sextile Neptune in your income house, AND trine Pluto in your endings house. At this time, you may take steps to sell your home or buy a new one, and if so, it seems that luck will be on your side. You will either get a good sum if you sell, or find a good price if you buy. If you need financial help for a home situation, it seems you will have it. Mid-month will see an eclipse that will either save the day or add to your financial woes. Luckily, the end of the month is divine, and you may be presented with a contract or project that makes your day- or even your year!

Extended Horoscope: Well, you’ve been hearing about it for a while, and it’s finally here. April. *Sigh* There’s so much going on this month, it’s hard to know where to begin! Let’s start with the new moon, which actually takes place on March 30 in Aries and your 2nd house of income.

This new moon is conjunct Uranus, indicating that some unexpected financial news could come up out of the blue for you. It doesn’t have to mean bad news, but because the Sun, Moon, and Uranus will all be squaring Jupiter in your house of romance, fun, and children, and Pluto in your 11th house of hopes and wishes, I worry it may not be the news you hoped to hear. A long-term goal could hit a financing snag, or a lover or child could prove to be very expensive at this time. Alternatively, the funding for a creative project could fall through, or you may fight with a friend about money.

Adding to your financial drama, Mars in your 8th house of other people’s money will oppose the Sun in your income house on April 7th. You may have to own up to the fact that you’re spending more than you are making, or perhaps shared finances between you and a partner become a little too blurry. Who’s paying for what? Is what’s their’s, yours? Is what’s yours, theirs?

Luckily, you have some protection headed your way, as Venus moves into Pisces on April 7th, blessing you with her beauty, and making you extra attractive to everyone around you. Even better, Venus will conjunct your ruler, Neptune, on April 11th, bestowing even more good luck on your sign. This is a great time to update your wardrobe, haircut, or personal style.

Venus also rules your house of other people’s money, so there’s a chance some money will come through for you right when you need it. Adding to this possibility is the fact that there’s a lunar eclipse in this sector on April 15th. This eclipse will conjunct the north node in your 8th house of other people’s money, so I’m hoping you will hear good financial news. The north node tends to bestow good luck to the houses it transits, so I’m hopeful you could see a payout of some kind. Perhaps you get an inheritance or bonus, or find the tax man is good to you this year. Perhaps your partner comes into some money of his/her own.

The only problem with the north node is that it comes with a pesky south node attached to its rear end. Right around the eclipse, Mercury, now making its way through your income house, will copy the same series of squares that the Sun  did earlier in the month! Argh. On April 13th, it will square Jupiter in your 5th house of love and children; on April 14th, it will conjunct Uranus and square Pluto in your 11th house of long-term goals; and on April 15th, it will oppose Mars in your 8th house of other people’s money. Sheesh. You can see why I warned you about April, right? Try to take comfort in the fact that all signs are going through difficult aspects, and some have it a lot worse than you! I’m looking at you Libra, Aries, Capricorn, and Cancer!

Luckily, April 17th looks divine, as Venus in your sign trines Jupiter in your 5th house of true love. This is one of the best days of the year for your love life, so make sure you spend it with a special someone. If you’re single, get up off that couch and go to a party, a bar, heck, even the supermarket! Your aspects are too lovely to sit at home today. If you’re trying to have a baby, this is a glorious aspect for that as well. Venus will also reach out to Pluto in your 11th house of hopes and dreams, making today even more special and personal to you.

Enjoy this influence while you can, as April 21st brings much chaos to the sky. Here we have, the dreaded… cardinal…square. On this day, Pluto, Uranus, Mars, and Jupiter will be locked in a four-way battle in your houses of love and fun, friendship and goals, and income and shared money houses. If you didn’t feel anything in early or mid-April, you just might now. This is largely dependent on whether you have any planets or cusps in your chart at 13 degrees Libra, Capricorn, Aries, or Cancer. If you do, there’s a good chance this square will affect you.

Now- before you start freaking out and hiding in your safe house, you should know that this doesn’t have to spell doom and gloom. It could just indicate a lot of upheaval and transformation in your life. While change can be difficult, it’s not necessary bad. Think of all the good things in your life right now…something probably had to change previously in your life for you to get those things, right? A square might make you move, change jobs, or break-up with someone, but those events might lead you to a better house, salary, or partner. In your case, the Universe wants to transform your finances, love life, and long-term goals to get you closer to a path that will make you happy in the long run.
